Sleep hygiene

In today's world, more and more have sleep problems, with Chinese distinguishing between problems falling asleep and staying asleep.


Sleep problems can have many causes, from drinking too much caffeinated beverages to body function disorders such as hyperthyroidism.

A few tips on sleep hygiene:


Make sure you are using the right mattress, blanket, pillow

Going to bed and getting up regularly

Getting enough sleep, because insomnia can develop from chronic lack of sleep

Diet can also play a big role, eating too heavy and late meals can prevent you from falling asleep



To fall asleep, you can also take a tea from the drugstore/pharmacy for a few weeks.


If one follows all tips, takes the tea for two weeks and has afterwards still problems falling asleep, they should visit a physician and/or welfare practical man once.
